Compared to traditional rims with hook designs, a hookless rim makes it easier to increase internal width without increasing weight. GIANT’s new hookless rim design also allows a narrower, lighter tire to be used, as it occupies a significantly larger volume on a hookless rim than on a classic hooked rim.

Improved durability

GIANT’s Hookless rim design incorporates an innovative manufacturing process that provides a much more robust carbon structure. This process improves the rim’s durability and puncture protection without adding weight.
