Dynamic Balanced Lacing

Since its introduction in 2015, ) has been one of the cornerstones of GIANT wheels. DBL ensures that the spokes are at optimal tension under dynamic load, resulting in improved durability and drive efficiency. The enlarged DBL hub flange also increases spoke angles, increasing torsional and lateral stiffness for better power transfer and a more stable sprint.

Compared to traditional rims with a hook design, a hookless rim makes it easier to increase the inside width without sacrificing weight without increasing the outside width. GIANT’s new hookless rim design also allows a narrower, lighter tire to be used because it takes up a significantly larger volume on a hookless rim than on eienr classic hooked rim.

Improved durability

GIANT’s Hookless rim design incorporates an innovative manufacturing process that provides a significantly more robust carbon structure. This process improves the rim’s durability and puncture protection without adding weight.
